Whitehaven and District Beekeepers Association has been in existence for at least 40 years. We have members along the coastal area from Bootle in the South to Distington in the North but are always happy to welcome new members from any parts of Cumbria. The Whitehaven and District Beekeepers have members from Howgate to Bootle. We meet on alternate Saturday afternoons in the Summer at Members Apiaries to look at the bees and exchange ideas on management and disease control. We meet in the Winter months for educational talks, videos and for social events. The Branch is a small one and relies upon other Branches for their Conventions and courses. |
