Carlisle Beekeepers Association has a series of winter meetings in Houghton Village Hall, regular apiary days at the Walby apiary, plus the association attends a variety agricultural and flower shows.

Winter meetings are held at Houghton Village Hall ~ starting 7:30pm.

Apiary Days ~ 2015

Apiary Days at the association apiary at Walby ~ starting at 2pm

At Saturday meetings, beginning in May, there will be a short talk on apiary management by a branch member. The topics suggested, although these may be varied, are queen rearing, hygiene routine, disease control options, record keeping and feeding.
